Erasmus+ SPECIAL project: second transnational project meeting held in Pescara, Italy.
On June 20th, 2022, IHF joined the second transnational project meeting of SPECIAL, a Project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission and coordinated by the Husavik Academic Centre (HAC). The meeting took place in the city of Pescara, in Italy.
The project, which brings together six partners from six countries (Iceland, Sweden, Romania Spain, Italy, and Belgium) aims at reigniting lifelong learning skills of NEETs in Europe (mainly those from non-urban areas), as well as reintegrating them in post-COVID societies and labour markets.
During the meeting, the consortium discussed the scheduled implantation of the project, timelines, and respective duties. In detail, partners analysed the implementation of the SPECIAL Platform, which gathers several sections such as training courses, Guidelines, and news of the project.
The next steps to take rely on developing the contents for the SPECIAL training to be delivered. The main topics of the training on the Platform will be about Technical and 3D drawing, Business management and entrepreneurship, Social Media Management, Self-awareness and self-efficacy & Critical Thinking and growth mindset.
