Master Class on ‘European Funding Programmes: Methods and Tools for Project and Management’.
IHF is pleased to announce the success of its Master Class held from September 23 to 27, 2024, focusing on European funding programmes. This course, covering approximately 40 hours, saw active participation from GnoNu, a non-profit volunteer association active in Benin, Africa.
The course specifically emphasized centralized management European programmes, providing participants with an in-depth understanding of the funding opportunities available through the European Union. Experts in the field guided attendees through the various phases of project realisation, covering everything from initial conception to planning, implementation, and final evaluation.
A significant highlight of the course was the visit to the European Parliament. This experience offered participants the chance to explore the workings of European institutions and understand the dynamics governing EU legislation and funding.
Concrete examples of successful programmes such as Erasmus+ and Horizon were presented, demonstrating how European funding can support innovative projects and contribute to skill development on an international scale. Additionally, guided workshops were organised, allowing participants to apply the skills they learned in creating and drafting project proposals. This hands-on approach facilitated interaction among participants, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
IHF is proud to have facilitated this course, which not only equipped participants with valuable skills but also strengthened the network of collaborations among organizations in the non-profit sector. Through initiatives like this, we continue to work towards a more inclusive and sustainable future.
