Digital Empowerment for Low Skilled Adults: IHF in Pescara for the 2nd Meeting of DELSA, an Erasmus+ Project
Along with 8 Partners from 6 European Countries (Belgium, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Spain), IHF was in Pescara on May 28th, 2019 for the 2nd meeting of DELSA – Digital Empowerment for Low Skilled Adults – a project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission, Key Action 2, Strategic Partnerships for Adult Education.
DELSA addresses the issue of low digital competences and skills and will develop immediate and concrete training and educational resources to advance digital abilities of low skilled adults, according to an accurate evidence-based assessment, ensuring a bottom-up approach which will produce outcomes fully relevant and consistent with the actual needs of the target group.
During the meeting, the Partners started off discussing the training module’s structure and content in DELSA available in 5 languages. Each Partner made a presentation of their current status regarding digitalisation and how to improve Adult Education system via a proper digital strategy. Also administrative aspects were brought up as well as dissemination, exploitation, visibility and quality assurance matters were discussed.
IHF brings in DELSA its expertise and experience as a key social player in international and European projects. In particular, IHF ensures the “European Dimension” of the project as it carries out all the technical tasks from a “European Perspective”, i.e. carrying out analyses of relevant EU policies, trends and initiatives; extrapolating EU relevant case studies, lessons learned and best-practices.
IHF guarantees a presence of the project in Brussels also from a dissemination and exploitation perspective, ensuring that project activities and outputs are properly showcased in the most relevant EU and international settings.
