Training Resources for Data Protection Officers: IHF in Nicosia for the 1st Steering Committee Meeting of DataPRO, an Erasmus+ Project.
IHF was in Nicosia on May 20th and 21st for the 1st Steering Committee Meeting of DataPRO, a Project co-funded by the Erasmus Plus Programme of the European Commission, Key Action 3 Joint Qualifications in Vocational Education and Training. DataPRO is implemented by a Consortium of 10 partners from 4 European countries (Belgium, Cyprus, Germany, Greece).
The project aims at incorporating the new digital mentality that is being shaped to companies, employees and young learners while responding to the fragmented certification system in the field.
During the Steering Committee meeting, Partners discussed the milestone reached by Project management as well as the next steps and priorities of implementation. Moreover, the DataPRO consortium defined a common strategy for an effective communication and dissemination of project activities and results.
In the following months VET providers organisations of the Consortium will design and develop a VET Joint Curriculum. Giving an answer to the fragmentation of the General Data Protection Regulation system with an advanced training for current data protection employees is one of the main objectives of the DataPRo project.
IHF asbl, a non-profit organisation established in Brussels (Belgium) in 2003, will undertake the necessary Actions for introducing project findings to stakeholders in Brussels, focusing on GDPR related Institutions. IHF will also be the main key actor in dissemination and exploitations of project results.
