IHF promotes the SEED project at the EU Vocational Skills Week

On December 16, IHF asbl hosted in its Brussels office an open-door event under the aegis of the European Vocational Skills Week (EVSW) to promote SEED, a project co – founded by the programme Erasmus +.

The European Vocational Skills Week is organised by the European Commission to inspire people to discover, use and improve talents and abilities through vocational training. The EVSW is one of the ten key actions proposed by the Commission under the New Skills Agenda for Europe. During the European Vocational Skills Week, the Commission showcases high-quality initiatives in the field of vocational education and training (VET) – ultimately to equip people with the skills they need in a fast-changing labour market.

IHF asbl invited VET providers, VET students, social enterprises and facilitators of social entrepreneurship to this “Open Doors” event to explore the SEED project (Social Entrepreneurship in a European Dimension) and share experiences in the field of social entrepreneurship.

SEED is an international collaborative project cofunded by Erasmus+ with 8 partners from 6 countries to provide training and educational resources to the operators of social entrepreneurship across Europe.
IHF operates in Brussels since 2003 with the aim of disseminating European values so as to empower the community at large – including non profit and local authorities – to develop networking opportunities, wider European integration and international cooperation.
In addition to carrying out research and analysis in various areas of European relevance, IHF organises seminars and conferences as well as more technical training courses on EU Policies and Regulation, International Relations and Project Management.
